1957 Dodge D100 Pickup By John Corman
Mopar Truck Of The Month January 2017:
On the inside:
The seat is a 2000 full size Dodge pickup power seat with the integrated seat belts a center console and matching western red cedar side panel accents. I mounted a 2000 Dodge truck AM/FM/Cassette/Cd stereo in the dash and took the cup holder from the bottom back of the quad cab seat and mounted it under the dash. The original 1957 options I installed were a forward look visor vanity mirror, the dome light and an ash tray. The custom made door panels and head liner are blue and white vinyl along with a custom made blue carpet with dodge script floor mats. The 83 dodge van sun visors are recovered in white vinyl as well. The switches (heat, wiper, lighter) were repurposed from a 66 Valiant. It has a 72 Satellite wiring harness, fuse box and headlight switch. I used a 72 Cuda steering wheel with a turned wood base. Finishing off the interior switches are an old school horn button and manual turn signal controls.
