This is my Mopar:
1967 Plymouth GTX, This GTX was ordered from the dealer in Floyd
Virginia back in the fall of 1966 buy it's original owner. Back in 69 so
the story goes on a hot summer night this GTX came across a Chevy when
the original 440 gave up it's ghosts. The owner replaced the engine with
a 1964 426 street wedge kept the original intake, exhaust manifolds
valve covers. Years past by and he past on like we all will and he
willed the GTX to his granddaughter who lived up in Massachusetts . She
stored it away for many years got married and moved to Rhode Island
where she raised her family The GTX was geared and would be driven when
they had time and an nice day. They wanted the garage space for a new
car, I scored it! I since replaced the 426 with the correct date coded
block and stroked out to 493 cubes, Eddy aluminum heads, Crane roller
hydraulic cam TTI headers 9:7.1 pump gas friendly motor dynoed at 540HP
@5400 590TQ @4200 "THE STUMP PULLER" Motor made big torque #'s. MSD
ignition, 727 torqueflite with 2800 stall 323 outback. No track time yet
soon, soon. Feels real strong.
