1973 Chrysler Imperial By
Martin Ouellet |
|
|
|
This is my 1973 Chrysler Imperial. Bought
in 1993 with 53k miles on it. This my second Imperial, the first was too
rusty but I kept it for spare parts. When I saw this one for sale
couldn't resist. I drove 6h to see it, got back home with and still own
that beauty. The original color was charcoal grey, she was repainted
in 1991 with Diamond white PPG paint by
the previous owner. Always kept inside, the paint still shine like a
mirror. Optional black leather interior with 50-50 front powers seats,
power window, locks, antenna and trunk. This car was ordered with a
really rare option called " SURE BRAKE ", first time ( or kind ) of ABS
brake by
Chrysler in the 70". Never saw an other one with that option (e-mail me
if you have one or know someone who's...). This car is a real sleeper,
small import can't believe that this beast can reach 120++mph and still
pushing! The engine is a 440 4bbl thermoquad, 727. 8.75 with 2.76 with
now 67k miles on the clock today. Future plans are to put dual exhaust
with magnum manifold, refresh the engine with small cam, refresh paint
and a new carpet. |
