1940 Mopar Powered Ford Pro Street Coupe By Scott Backen

Here is something a little different, its my 1940 Ford pro street coupe. It may be a Ford on the out side, but its all Mopar underneath. the car has a 440, 030 over and runs a hemi cam. Other goodies are, Edelbrock intake ,Edelbrock 750 carb, Mallory duel point dist. Also 10 1/2 to 1 pistons and Jet Hot coated Sanderson headers. All this goes to a preped 727Torqueflight and a shortened Ford 9 in rearend with a 4 link coil over setup. I still need to install a rollbar before i try the1320. I still am working on the car,but I drive it everyday. Enclosed are some pictures.
