1970 Plymouth Barracuda & 1971 Dodge Challenger By Rose Performance Racing Team
This Is My Mopar:
My 1973 Plymouth Cuda is powered by a gas powered 440 Chrysler big block. It utilizes a 1050 Dominator that sits atop the 4500 series M1 alum intake, 906 heads w/generous porting, Harland Sharp 1.5 ratio roller rockers w/hardened chrome rocker shafts, 10 degree locks, titanium retainers, Ferrea 1.81 exhaust & 2.19 intake valves, Lunati custom .648" lift roller cam, stock rods, Ross flat top racing pistons, Hooker Super Competition headers w/Dynomax Bullet mufflers. I bought this completely stock, non-original, Cuda last year and my dad and I tore it completely apart and rebuilt it for drag racing only. After nearly 8 mos., we had it running at the track. We did all the work our selves - except for block/head machining, rebuilding a Powerglide transmission, and Dana 60 rebuild. We added frame connectors, 8-point roll bar, Dana 60 w/4.30 gears, changed from power brakes/steering to manual brakes/steering, new K-member, drums brakes all the way around, fiberglass hood, and all new wiring.
My best 1/4-mile ET so far is 10.577. My best 1/4-mile MPH so far is 129.68. My best event so far was the NHRA Federal Mogul Division 5 Event in Earlsville, IA - Super Street (10.90) Runner-Up

Also,
My dad, Chuck Rose, owns/drives this 1971 Dodge Challenger drag race car. It also has a 440 - but his is alcohol injected, it has Stage IV iron heads that are massively ported, plus many other goodies. It is a complete tube chassis car that was professionally built.
His best 1/4-mile ET so far is 9.53. His best 1/4-mile MPH so far is 144. Below is a picture of both cars together.
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely, Brad Rose - Rose Performance Racing Team
