1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport by Tim Swank
This is my Mopar:
This is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport affectionately called 'Mangler'. It was rescued from a salvage yard two weeks before it would have been crushed. I have rebuilt and customized it to show condition and it has become a 45 time 'Best of Class' car show winner. It's been featured in various publications and has gained some national notoriety. Oddly enough, the Jeep and I have something in common. According to the build sheet, it was built on my birthday, July 2nd. Every day feels like it's my birthday when I go to car shows as I get to talk to many people, make new friends and see a few smiles on the faces of children. The kids are mostly impressed with the sound gear which produces 1800 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms. I can't begin to describe how many ways in which this Jeep has enriched my life. It has become the pinnacle of my self expression and the fact that I get to share it with others who seem to enjoy it as well means a lot.
