This is my Mopar:
1972 Dodge Dart Swinger, it's been backhalf, mini tubbed can fit 31×18
tire in there, a lot of rubber, narrow 8 3/4 rear end running 4.56
gears, 6 point rollgage, and still has back seat, stock interior, lift
off cowl hood, s/b 408 dyno Hp 570/ trq 556 at 6500rpm , so far got it
to run in the low 11's, doing little more work on timing (retard)
putting 29.50×14.50 slicks on and hope to get in the high 10's, front
end has been updated tumbler K member rack and pion steering in front of
the motor, wilwood docs brakes up front. Lost about 150 pounds on front
end, bought front end kit out Pennsylvania, in stalled it ,mount up
where old K member went, the only trouble I ran into on swap was passage
side motor mount gave me little trouble, it was worth the money on
upgrade, car runs strait down track no steering trouble on top end of
track ,stops good, but doing burn out line lock locks front tires but
car pushes forward with front tires not moving, got 3" exhaust Comes out
in front of rear tires , car street legal.
