This is my Mopar:
1968 Plymouth GTX. My first barracuda i bought in 1991 for $300 as
basically a shell, was a 318 2bbl auto, but everything was gone, I had
enough Mopar parts in my yard and it took me a month before i drove it
for the first time, many late nights (all night at times) getting it to
the "no worries" state. The 1st year i drove it, it saw 2 different
engines (both 318 4bbl), 3 transmissions (the last a 727 replacing the
904), and 6 rear ends (the last being a 8 3/4 inch replacing the 7 1/4),
over the years it's seen many different carb/intake combinations along
with a slew of other mods, a set of good radial 60 series tires and its
so well balanced it put many a car to shame in the mountain curves of
California, and is still the most fun car i have ever driven (driven
well over a 100 different cars),
The 2nd one i traded a 69 road runner shell for a 68 barracuda formula S
340 4bbl 4spd, which is currently a project and have only drove it on a
couple short rides, still my car of choice, a lot of the best times of
my life happened in/around my barracuda.
