This is my Mopar:
1966 Plymouth Barracuda. Barn find, This car had been sitting for 25
years Running car when it was parked. My x girl friend had told me about
this car around 15 years ago. I wanted to buy it then, It wasn't for
sale, It was going to be her fathers restore project when he retired. He
never got the chance. He passed away from cancer a few years ago. Then I
got the the call last September ,Do you still want that barracuda? Oh
yeah..Ran to bank, got the cash, set up the shipping, And it was here in
a few weeks. Had it running day one. It was set up to be stored, all
fluids drained. Washed all systems through. Refilled fluids. Replaced
the battery, plugs, wires and fired her up. Wow running again after 25
years, Carb was a little dry, and the fuel pump was weak so I replaced
those. She ran like a champ. Nice and clean, No smoke,
plenty of power. Next was the brakes, I replaced everything except the
drums, Those i couldn't find. But that's ok. On the rebuild it will be
all discs. I all so added the A Body Go wing, With the Plymouth decal on
the rear. And the 68 Hemi hood scoop. American Racing 14x7 Wheels With
205/70's in the front,245/60's in the rear. Gabriel hi jackers on the
rear. Gabriel gas on the front. This weekend I'm installing the hurst v
matic shifter with the transgo stage 2 shift kit. The three L's....Lot
of time...Lot of money...Lot of fun.
