This is my Mopar:
1979 Dodge D100. Even my wife likes this green machine imported from
Detroit in '79; complete with working 8-track player and tilt steering
column. I got her in late 2012 from a man for whom it was his daily
driver! Solid truck, but lacked a little TLC so I began by adapting a
later-model tail gate, replacing all the fluids, brakes, shocks and
refurbishing the interior. She's still a work in progress, but I use it
often and also have fun tinkering with it too. My wife and I drove it
from Charlotte to Miami without incident, though from time to time I had
to go in and tighten the wires on the ammeter (after the last time that
happened in a heavy Florida rain, I installed plasti-lok nuts so this
won't happen again--at least until I upgrade her electrics). Soon, I
hope to add a four-barrel intake, headers and convert it to propane. As
I make further headway on my restoration, I'll add more photos. I
appreciate any advice you can offer too. Thanks for checking her out!
