Mopar Truck Of The Month
April 2013:
1967 D100 Custom Cab, Sweptline, Short bed, 318 V8, 3-speed manual,
56,xxx miles from new, local, one-family owned (until I bought it 2
years ago).
These Dodges from the Sweptline Era (1961-1971) are not often seen
today. No doubt, most of them were bought and used as TRUCKS and
discarded. The short bed / V8 combination in this particular truck is
unusual. According to one source on productions numbers I found - Dodge
only made slightly more than 3,300 of this configuration for 1967. The
original color combo of Mojave Yellow with Dodge Truck White cab were
maintained when the truck was recently restored. I have owned the truck
for 2 years (just got it completed this month) and look forward to
taking out to car shows and using it as an occasional sunny-day driver.
