I am a proud owner of a 1970 Plymouth GTX
440 3-2 BBL 390 HP car. This Mopar was built on Thursday November 13,
1969 at the Lynch Road Plant. This car is a Y14 (Sold) vehicle and was
ordered out of Brighton Mi. I bought this car July 9, 2011 from the
third owner who had cared for it for 37 years. This car has 90% of its
original components though it was repainted back in 1982 with the
correct FE5 Red Lacquer paint. The black vinyl top was not replaced and
is original. The car has been decoded by Galen V Govier with
documentation showing original engine, transmission and 4:10 Dana. I
have the original build sheet and paint tag. One thing that seems rare
is its a column shift, most 1970 GTX V codes automatic's have a console.
The car has remained in the same county for 42 years now. I am the 4th
owner. I have listed below original components for your information.
