This is my 1964 Dodge Polara
project. I found her more or less abandoned on blocks and under a tarp
in a guy's back yard after noticing the telltale wide eyed headlights
peeking out. After a few months I finally convinced him to sell and she
came home with me. After replacing all the brakes, the windshield,
drivers door window, tires, and a tuneup, she started right up and has
been a head turner since. She was a one family owner car from TN and
still does not have over 70K on the odometer. Her original poly 318 and
727 auto are still going strong, as is the original AM radio. Work to be
done includes the normal mopar floor and trunk rot, some spots in the
cowl and under the windows, and maybe an overall restoration. She is a
fairly rare four door hardtop, and has all the original paperwork since
Oct. 1963.
