Mopar Car Of The Month
For May 2012: My 1967 Plymouth GTX, 426
Hemi 4 speed in special buffed silver paint, black vinyl top, power disc
brakes, power steering, black interior, console and console mounted tach,
clock, light package, AM & FM radio w/rear seat speaker, front seat
shoulder harnesses. I have owner this car since 1980, purchase price was
$ 400 dollars. The car was going to have the original engine sold off,
the engine was apart when the previous owner bought it from the last
owner in 1973 for 100 dollars, it had a spin rod bearing. The guy wanted
to install a slant six in it to use it as a daily driver because the
body was so nice. the car has the original engine and drive train. was
restored before repo parts were available so most are original or new
old stock.
