1964 Plymouth Barracuda By Aaron Sigler

1964 Plymouth Barracuda. I bought this car two years ago and have been fixing it up as much as the money will let me. When I got the car it had the 225 slant 6 in it. I drove it for about a year and a half with that motor then one day a work a guy came up to me and asked about the car and was wondering what I was going to do with it. I told him that I wanted to drop a v8 in it sometime in the near future and he told me he had a 318 and tranny that he pulled out of his Plymouth scamp that he would just give me. I couldn't pass on a offer like that so that following week I went and picked it up. Unfortunately I don't have a garage to work on the car in so me and my brother jay stuck the motor in our dirt floor barn and went to town on it. The motor got a new cam, lifters, nice high rise intake and a new carb. Other than that the motor is pretty much stock. Once we had it ready to drop in the car we wheeled it out to the driveway where the Barracuda was sitting and droped it down in. I still remember the feeling I got when I first turned the key and the 318 came to life in its new home. Ever since then iv been driving the Barracuda to work and to car shows all around. I'm hopping to have a fresh coat of paint on the car next year.
