FE5 Ralley red GTX. VIN:
RS23U0A133418. Originally a 440 4bbl, automatic car. Now a 440+6
with Keisler 5 speed and Dana 60 3:54 rear. Engine bored and stroked
to 500 Cubes with 500 HP and 800 pound feet of torque along with SSB
power disc brakes. I bought
car in September of 2005 from Wagner's classic cars in Bonner
Springs KS. Previous owner spent 70 grand to restore. I have always
been torn between a Roadrunner and a GTX. I like the roadrunner but
my late brother had a turbine bronze 67 440 GTX in 68, which is when
I graduated high school. I consider my GTX a (roadrunner-GTX) as you
can see by the roadrunner decals and horn.
At time of purchase, I was looking
for a roadrunner but was having a hard time finding one optioned
like a GTX. Beyond that, I like these cars to look mostly stock on
the outside, but like making them a modern driver underneath, as I
drive mine all the time.
