1965 Plymouth Sport
Fury By Jim Miller |

|
This is my 1965 Fury Sport. The
vehicle has the original 426 Wedge with factory 4-speed with the
factory tachometer and is 95% original. The vehicle has been mainly
in storage since 1969 and was repainted in 1980 and had a small tear
in the drivers seat repaired. I still have the original hubcaps that
came with the car hanging in my garage. I do not know the mileage,
since I unhooked the speedometer a few years ago and the car still
runs great. I do get the car out once in a while to take it to local
Car Shows. The vehicle was bought brand new from Tom Raper Chrysler
in Richmond, IN. I am the second owner and have owned this vehicle
since the car was 6 months old. My wife used the car in the 60's to
go the grocery store and take the kids to school. I never took the
car to the race track, however, if you saw the speedometer, you
could see where the needle has scratched it at un-named high MPH,
but that was from my younger days.
