1971 Dodge Challenger R/T
Clone. This car started as a rare 1970 non R/T 383 4-speed car. Rust
Free Shell, 457 built. The car was stripped so I built the car to what I
wanted it to be. Balanced 1967 HP 440 engine with 915 heads, Lunati Cam,
Roller Rockers, Gear Drive. Lots of polished aluminum and steel braided
hoses and wires. Polished Tunnel Ram with two 450 Holleys. Aluminum
radiator, water pump and housing. MSD, Fuel Cell, Pistol Grip 4-speed,
Narrowed Dana 60 with 4:10. Weld Dragstars, 33x19.5x15 Mickeys,
28x750x15 front Mickeys. The Challenger also features a new headliner,
carpet. Front leather buckets with racing harness and stock rear seat
with belts. 4 point roll cage (this is a street car with full interior).
The Challenger was backhalfed by myself with 3x2 and steel floor and
tubs to keep the road noise down, ladder bar setup. |
