|
This is a 1972 Plymouth
Scamp A body. This was a 5 month restoration project from top to bottom.
This car is red pearl metallic base coat/clear coat 3 and 3. Bumpers have
been rechromed, new tailight
assemblies, new wheels and tires, etc.. All exterior
parts have been replaced except for the mirrors including the emblems.
Front and rear glass has been removed and replaced with new seals. It has
all new interior with the Penstar logo stitched in
the head rests. This car was factory equipped with a
6-cylinder and has been converted to a 67' model 440 HP Magnum with a
4-speed pistol grip shifter. It has a 8 3/4 430 gear suregrip posi. Also has new fenderwell exit headers
by Hooker, new holly 780 cfm carb and the normal
motor chrome accessories. I have a NOS Go-Wing spoiler but have not had a chance
to put in on the car yet. Since the car has been
finished have been to the Mopar National here at
home. It has received 2 1st place trophies for best
paint and best A-body since September 2002. The
paint and body work was done by Darrell Mullins of Kingsport, TN and also
a thank you to my wife Brandi for being so patient in this project. I hope
to see it in a upcoming issue. Thanks for your time and attention. |

P.S.
The R/T emblems are not factory. I just wanted to be
a little different. Also check the tag out. This car
is fun to drive and does turn the heads. |
