1970 Australian
Chrysler Valiant Regal |

Hi, Thought this may be of interest to
y'all, its my 1970 Australian (right hand drive)
four door Valiant, I've just sold the engine so its
now a rolling shell again, I fitted a 383 which I
had not got around to finishing before selling it,
but in its prime (about 8yrs ago !) it ran a best of
9.4 @ ?mph with a kofel 451 with about 100hp of nos,
its quite an oddity being a four door, perhaps you'd
put it on your car pictures section? The
Mopar Menace has a long list of features including: |
|
- Kevlar/carbon composite doors
(x4 with proper handles etc!) trunk lid and one
piece flip front with aero scoop.
- Aluminum interior, aluminum
tubs, proper fitted carpet, removable trunk and
rear floor panels, s/g cage.
- 15x15 weld draglites (satin)
with 32x15x15 goodyears, and 4x15 polished
centerlines on front.
- Lexan windows.
- 16gal fuel cell and battery box
in trunk.
- Rack and pinion steering,
brakes.
- 8 3/4 narrowed and braced mopar
axle on ladder bar and koni coilovers, fitted with
recently rebuilt 4.10:1 suregrip
