1967 Chrysler 300 Coupe
By Rick Imbri |

|
Here is my 1967
Chrysler 300 coupe. It's a survivor mopar, which comes from Fair Oaks
California. It has the original paint, chrome and interior. The engine is
also the original 440/350 horsepower version with 59000 miles and a Carter
4bbl carb, 727B
transmission with 3.23:1 rear, and dual exhausts. I
once floored it and fish-tailed the car wildly, leaving two wavy black
streaks on the pavement for well over 100 feet! It even chirps second
gear, not bad for a 19 foot, automatic, 4500lb car!! It's a pleasure
driving this big car , and it usually wins in the "Best Original" class at
car shows. I notice the crowds around the car at the shows are increasing,
as the interest in big C-Body Chryslers grows. |
