Here's my nominee for Mopar
of the month! I found this one in a field a couple of years ago, and
lusted after it since. She's a 1964 Plymouth Valiant Barracuda. No,
I didn't typo here, Plymouth made these as a precursor to giving Barracuda
its own mark. She is equipped with a 273 "LA" V-8, a pushbutton,
cable operated transmission, black bucket seat interior, and a white
exterior. It took me the better part of a year to work up the chutzpah to
even ask if she was for sale, then another year before I had the requisite
funds for the purchase. Now she belongs to me and I sometimes just
sit behind the wheel and grin, planning what, if any, restoration I'll
subject her and my wallet to! The all call me Careuthers. I reside in Twin Oaks, California. |
