Here's

in the garage) auto, p/w, 6way, super trac pac, grabber,

Played with the original stuff for a while and got tired of

1969 .030 over 440 - Custom
Wiseco 7.9 to 1 pistons - Eagle Rods - Ported 906`s w/2.14 1.81, BDS 8-71 blower - BDS/Accel/DFI
electronic fuel injection - MP indexed and chromed steel crank Hughes Cam, Lifters,
Springs727 w/ B&M internals - MP Econo converter - 3.54 Dana 60.
Baseline chassis dyno runs were
made with blower 13% underdriven and some VERY conservative programing
on an 84 degree day the best being 430.5 hp and 533.0 ft/lb at the
wheels. Since then the drive has been changed to 6% overdriven, I haven't
had a chance to dyno it again but a recent trip to IRP resulted in
several 11 second passes with a best of 11.73 @ 120.95. Although it
wouldn't hook as is evident by 2.07 60 ft times there is still some left
and really not bad considering the race weight was 4110 pounds and this
was done on 275-60 BFG drag radials. Also drove it there raced it and drove it
home and got 12.2 mpg Gotta love that electronic injection ! |
